About Me
I'm a 27-year old interaction designer living in Brooklyn, NY. I work as an Interaction Designer on the Nike+ account at R/GA where I enjoy coming up with ideas about simple and fast experiences and a variety of ways for serving up relevant content. Before starting at R/GA, I worked for a year and a half at Publicis Dialog. During graduate school and for the year following my graduation, I worked for XL Group.
I received my MFA in 2005 from the Parsons Design and Technology department and before that I graduated with Gold Key Honors and a BA in Film Production from Emerson College. I spent my freshman year in Rome studying Film Theory at the Roma Tre University.
Lately, I have become more involved with user-centered design practices and I've developed an interest toward integrating ethnography and observational studies into the interaction design process. I'm working on a physical location / mobile project with the working name Staccato, which may or may not become the coolest thing ever to hit the South Bronx. In the meantime, I'm keeping an eye on the academic world, so I was on the organizing committee of the UPA 2008 conference.
